Citadines Connect Fifth Avenue New York

I saw terrible reviews about this place, but I disagree. They offer coffee and tea downstairs, leave a breakfast bag at your door and the location is awesome. Of course it could use a little updating, like our blinds were broken. But for the price and location totally worth it!

I enjoyed my stay at the Citadines Connect! The location was perfect...right next to some nice pubs and pizzerias! The rooms were clean and the staff super friendly! For a 3-star hotel, I give it a 5!

Excellent location at a reasonable price. The rooms are small without much storage but were clean and the heat worked great. The staff was very friendly, informative, and accommodating. If we stay in Midtown again this place would be on the list for sure.

I was in town in September 2025 and wasn't planning to stay over night. However a change made me seek a place for the night. I fired up Hotels Tonight and found this place with reasonable prices. Note this was during UN week and everything was outrageously priced but this was a good deal for then night. I was skeptical and wasn't sure what the bargain I was going to get but given the one night and lack of choices I opted for it anyways. I showed up and he door was locked (by design). You need to be buzzed in or need a card to get in. The front lobby/desk area was nice. I was greeted and promptly checked in without issue and given my room key. The lobby area had a few folks (who looked like college kids) doing work or studying. Had a hostel vibe. I went to my floor and was pleasantly surprised. It was nice, quiet and clean. My room was sizeable compared to NYC standards and was clean and well maintained. The bathroom was handicap friendly and the amenities plentiful. I had a restful night. No issues or complaints. I was satisfied with my experience and was happy to have spent the night there on such short notice. The area is right in the buzz of everything with plenty of late night eats. If I am back in the area and need a last minute room, might stay here again. Price was it is comparable. All in all good experience.

Absolutely amazing location. Short walking distance to Bryant Park, Rockefeller Center, Time Square, Macy’s & much more. Rooms are small but that’s anywhere in NYC, but honestly it wasn’t bad, we had one bed and had enough room for 3 luggage’s and a big stroller to fit and my husband, daughter, and I all slept in the one bed with no problem. Staff was very helpful allowed us an early check in, and held our bags all day when we checked out at 11am and our flight home wasn’t until 6pm.

Citadines Connect Fifth Avenue New York is an excellent place to stay right in the heart of the city. The location is unbeatable—steps away from Fifth Avenue, shopping, dining, and major attractions, making it incredibly convenient for exploring New York. The hotel is clean, modern, and well-maintained, with a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are thoughtfully designed, cozy, and quiet, providing a relaxing space after a busy day in the city. The staff is friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Overall, Citadines Connect Fifth Avenue offers a great balance of comfort, convenience, and value, and I would gladly stay here again.

Overall, it was a good hotel with a great central location, just a short walk from Times Square. The room was clean but a bit small. The price was reasonable. The only issue we had was that the bathtub plug was stuck, and it wasn’t fixed during our stay. At certain times of the day, the elevators can be slow or crowded. Overall, I would still recommend this hotel for its cleanliness and excellent location.
